Some take out student loans to finance their undergarments. We here at Yoko in Mom Jeans call that "investment pieces." For this season, however, I have forgone my normal $6.99 pair of black canvas slip-ons from K-mart for a bit more socially responsible (and hopefully sturdier) Tom's.
After much debate with my bandmates, I decided on Ash grey. And now I will be sitting at home for the next two weeks waiting for the UPS guy (or gal) to show up, lest I miss him (her).
